Wednesday Connection

Ministry Supper

As a part of our Wednesday Connection Ministry Second Baptist provides a donation supper each Wednesday night that our children and students meet during the school year. This greatly helps and encourages our families who are attending by providing a full supper for the entire family for a small suggested donation. The donations provided help us to continue this ministry which helps and encourages so many. The supper is served from 5.45 to 6.10 to allow everyone an opportunity to eat before our sessions begin.
 Children’s Info
Second Baptist has AWANA night every Wednesday evening from 6.15 to 7.30 during the school year. Your children will have the opportunity during that hour and a half to participate in Bible study, scripture memorization, and game time. Our AWANA Commanders, Mike and Rachel Long, serve along side of a wonderful team who enjoy ministering to the children of our community! If your child comes to AWANA they will be well taken care of, learn about God’s word, and have a great time while doing it.
 Student stuff
Second Baptist has weekly meetings for students in Middle and High School. This group meets upstairs and is led by Daniel Harding and a group of volunteers. Meetings consist of all types of games, music, teaching from Scripture, and small group meetings with peers and volunteer adults to encourage and inspire each other. Our number one focus is to remind and point our students towards the God who is knowable. He is present.

Adult Opportunities

Our adult choir meets from 6.30 to 7.30 each Wednesday evening. Mike Carter leads this group as they prepare to lead and encourage our church each Sunday morning.
Our adults meet in the church Sanctuary each Wednesday at [6:30]PM. This group has a time of sharing prayer needs and praying for those needs of the church and community. Following this they engage in a Bible Study. Currently this is led by the members of Second Baptist.
