This event was hosted on October 26, 2019. We hope to make it an annual event. The information from the 2019 Conference is below. 

Missions 1:8 conference is specifically designed to help small and medium sized churches launch mission programs that reach outside the walls of their church.

With over 10 breakout sessions attendees will connect and learn from leaders who will give specific direction in how to minister;  locally, nationally, and globally.

Designed to give practical help for pastors and lay leaders.

Glenda Bashlor | Ladies Ministry Director, Second Baptist Church
Helps direct a Ladies Ministry that serve in a variety of ways making impacts across the globe. Hand-made good for cancer patients, blessings for new mothers, items that are used in ministering to human trafficking victims, and dolls and dresses for missionaries to distribute in 3rd world countries.
Harriet Bowman | Missional Development Coach Second Baptist Church: Former IMB Missionary of 19 years to Sub Saharan Africa
Will lead all of the prayer-walking breakout sessions and show how this can become a vital part of a church’s ministry and mission. From praying at your local schools to traveling across the globe to help a missionary attempting to minister in a particular area.

Learn how a church can serve through the ministry of Fellowship of Christian Athletes and impact their local school district.

Will give tangible strategic steps for churches looking to connect with the International Mission Board (IMB).

Learn about a 3 church partnership in a long-term plan to reach an un-reached people group in West Africa. This past summer they saw their first baptisms among the Mswanka people of West Africa. Learn how any church can become involved in this vital ministry with the IMB through partnerships.
