Kingdom Care

Daniel's Page

Parents have you ever felt as if your student needed help learning to cope as a teenager? Possibly you have and therefore you have sent them to church hoping they will learn something that will impact their lives. In order to better enable our students to COPE we are beginning four different groups within our student group. Each of these groups will challenge our students to do something that we as parents are always imploring them to do – think for themselves. They will not only be asked to think for themselves but they will be asked to measure their actions against God’s Word. With your support your student will be asked to join one of these groups. These groups are not mandatory and not every student may want to participate but I urge you to prompt your student to join one of these groups so they can challenge themselves and their friends by living a life that reflects the glory and power of God.

Communication – These students will be responsible for helping produce a newsletter with student written articles, keeping a student page updated on the web, and producing announcements, as well as handling PowerPoint during youth services.

Outreach – These students will be responsible for helping assimilate visitors as well as making sure our group is inclusive of all of those who attend. They will also look for opportunities that our group can serve in our community.

Prayer – These students will help assimilate a monthly prayer request list as well as ensuring that each student has a prayer partner with whom they can pray.

Encouragement – These students will help with organizing weekly games for Wednesday PM services as well as helping with setup or planning for other events.

I am excited about what a new school year offers us as we seek to glorify God, point others to Christ, and live in a way that follows the leading of the Holy Spirit.

“…that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head – Christ – from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” Ephesians 4:14-16
